A quick story of where Mean Green Lawn Care came from. Michael Whittaker and twin brother Robert Whittaker started 'M and R Landscape' while in high school. They worked hard to grow their business but in 2003 parted ways to start their respective college careers. Robert went to Lubbock to be a Red Raider while Michael came to Fort Worth to become a Horned Frog. Lubbock is where Mean Green began. Robert started a new company and named it Mean Green. It did very well but he took on another venture, which required him to part ways with the Lawn business. Michael started Mean Green in Dallas Fort Worth and quickly grew it based on what he had learned in school and from the companies prior.
Mean Green quickly took form in Dallas Fort Worth by servicing homeowners, then property management companies then energy companies. Michael prides himself in his unique business tactics. Michael has gained a lot of experience and knowledge in different types of grass, landscape install and tree care. He loves tree pruning and removal and hopes to gain more certifications. Ryan Bourdon co-owner of Mean Green Lawn Care merged companies in 2010. Ryan brings his creativity, extensive knowledge and landscape lighting to Mean Green. Ryan has been in the landscape business for 8 years and has serviced Weatherford/Aledo areas.
